My passion for business and art intertwined at a young age, leading me to establish Art n Soul, a company committed to empowering artists and providing them with a platform to showcase their talents.
My journey began in 9th grade when I endeavored to help a friend gain recognition for his artwork from Walt Disney, sparking my love for the arts and setting me on a path of entrepreneurship in the creative industry.
Through Art n Soul, I have dedicated myself to nurturing the talents of artists and creating opportunities for them to thrive, breaking free from their inhibitions and embracing their creativity.
Engaging in the world of arts served as the gateway to a magnificent journey through creativity and expression. It was through this path that we courageously embarked on a mission to empower the youth in urban areas with our art programs and mentoring, leading to the establishment of a charitable organization known as The Art Hub that has made an make a meaningful impact on the lives of young men and women.
For over a decade and a half, I have graced the art consulting realm with my presence, evolving into the esteemed art liaison for numerous cities. I have curated unforgettable experiences and masterfully orchestrated events that leave a lasting impression on all who attend.
I forge new connections and partnerships that elevate the art world to new heights. My commitment to delivering unparalleled service and unparalleled artistry sets me apart in a competitive industry, where only the best and brightest thrive. As I continue on this remarkable journey, I am excited to see what the future holds and the new horizons that await me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the initial stages, Start Art n Soul encountered numerous obstacles while navigating the intricate political landscape of the art industry. It was a challenge to immerse myself in an unfamiliar environment and comprehend the objectives of the artists. Additionally, being a black male also contributed to some of the difficulties faced in establishing the business.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Acknowledged for my skill in partnering with a diverse range of artists, devising inventive marketing plans, advertising events, and managing the successful execution of major productions.
My focus lately lies in assisting customers with event management, marketing, and coordination, guaranteeing that every element of their event is flawlessly carried out with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
By combining our expertise in art curation with our passion for event production, we strive to provide a unique and unforgettable experience that celebrates the diversity and innovation of the art world. Join us in creating memorable moments and bringing art to life in a way that captivates and inspires all who participate.
I have produced several events with my signature end called the Sistrunk A Fair, a week-alone event highlighting artists of the African diaspora. It is a significant platform that has been established for artists of color. This initiative aims to showcase the hidden talents within local communities, providing artists with the opportunity to shine and express themselves freely.
We are passionate about our work and strive to do it with excellence and pride.
