Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasiia Kogan.
Hi Anastasiia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Europe and began my career as a honeymoon travel agent. I quickly realized that honeymoon planning was only a small part of my clients’ wedding-related stress. With a background in Graphic Design, a desire to help my clients, and an eye for detail, I decided to leverage my talents to offer wedding design and planning services.
My appreciation for various cultures and fluency in English, French, Russian and Polish have brought an unparalleled ability to service clients who want both local southern charm and European refinement and perspective.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The challenge I faced after moving to the USA was learning the wedding world all over again. There are so many cultural differences and so many things that are done differently. It took me a moment to adjust, but it has been an inspiring journey.

I am an Atlanta Wedding Planner. I call myself wedding planning BFF, and I am genuinely passionate about love, weddings, and my couples. At Kogan Events, I work very closely with each client, designing weddings so spot on that when the guests walk in the room, they say: “holy…, this is so them!”
From the initial consultation to the last dance, my team and I are there to ensure our couple’s wedding planning experience is stress-free and fun and that the Big Day reflects their style and personality.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
At the beginning of my journey of becoming a wedding planner, designer & stylist, I often felt pulled into many different directions. It took some time of searching, testing, working with some fantastic wedding professionals, and most importantly, listening to my gut and trusting my instincts to arrive at a point where I know EXACTLY what makes Kogan Events unique. Knowing that I can now focus on perfecting my style and mastering my craft to serve my couples best.
