Today we’d like to introduce you to Antoinette Thomas.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey has truly been one of purpose, perseverance, and passion. I wear a few different hats—I’m a licensed Realtor, a Closing Attorney, a wife, and most proudly, a mom of four.
I’m a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, where I also earned a Master’s in Business Administration. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University in Tallahassee. With over a decade of experience as a licensed attorney, I’ve practiced in several legal areas, including criminal prosecution, insurance defense, and real estate law. Today, I focus on what I love most—helping people navigate homeownership and property transactions.
I proudly serve clients across the Metro Atlanta area as a Realtor, and separately, as a Closing Attorney. While I bring the knowledge and perspective of both roles to every transaction, I never serve in both capacities for the same client, as that would be a conflict of interest. I believe strongly in maintaining professional integrity, and my goal is always to ensure my clients are protected, informed, and empowered throughout the process.
I’m deeply passionate about educating others—whether it’s explaining real estate contracts, breaking down the closing process, or sharing updates on state laws that impact buyers and sellers. Helping families build generational wealth and confidently move through major life decisions is what drives me every day.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of my husband, our four amazing children, and the incredible circle of family and friends who constantly lift me up. Their love and encouragement are at the core of everything I do.
Balancing business, marriage, and motherhood hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it. I’ve built a career I’m proud of, and I’m still growing. One thing I’ve learned: when you stay grounded in your purpose and keep showing up, the possibilities are endless. I’m grateful for the journey—and I’m just getting started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not—it’s been anything but smooth. But every bump in the road has helped shape me into who I am today.
Balancing motherhood, marriage, and a demanding legal and real estate career hasn’t always been easy. There were seasons where I questioned if I was doing enough, if I was on the right path, or if I could really “have it all.” There were moments of burnout, missed milestones, and difficult decisions—especially early in my career when I was learning how to juggle it all while still showing up fully for my clients and my family.
Stepping into entrepreneurship brought its own challenges too—building a business from the ground up, navigating market shifts, and learning how to advocate for myself in rooms where I didn’t always feel seen or heard. It took a lot of prayer, perseverance, and leaning on my support system to keep going.
But through it all, I’ve learned how to give myself grace, how to trust God’s timing, and how to keep pushing forward even when things don’t go as planned. Every challenge taught me something valuable, and every setback prepared me for the next level.
So no, it hasn’t been smooth—but it’s been worth it.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m both a licensed Realtor and a Closing Attorney based in the Metro Atlanta area, and I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives—buying or selling a home. With over a decade of legal experience and a background in real estate law, I bring a unique level of expertise to the table that allows me to protect and empower my clients throughout the entire transaction.
While I never serve as both the Realtor and Closing Attorney for the same client—because that would be a conflict of interest—I use the knowledge from both sides of the closing table to educate my clients, anticipate challenges, and guide them with confidence. I’m known for being detail-oriented, deeply committed to my clients’ goals, and someone who genuinely cares. Whether it’s a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned investor, my goal is to make the process smooth, transparent, and successful.
I’m also passionate about education. I take pride in breaking down complex legal and real estate concepts in a way that makes sense, so clients feel informed and in control every step of the way. I believe knowledge is power, especially in real estate.
What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients and the impact I’ve been able to make—helping families build generational wealth, guiding people through tough situations, and seeing the joy that comes with closing on a dream home.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend legal insight with real estate expertise, my heart for service, and my genuine love for what I do. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s purpose work.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is faith, family, and purpose. Those three things are the foundation of everything I do.
My faith keeps me grounded—it’s what I lean on in moments of uncertainty and what guides my decisions, both personally and professionally. Family is my heartbeat. As a wife and mother of four, my “why” starts at home. My children watch everything I do, and I want them to see what it looks like to chase your dreams, walk in purpose, and never give up.
Purpose is what fuels me. Whether I’m helping a client buy their first home, educating someone on the legal side of real estate, or showing up for my community, I know I’m doing what I was called to do. I don’t take that for granted.
At the end of the day, success for me isn’t just about titles or transactions—it’s about impact. It’s about living a life that reflects my values, lifts others up, and leaves something meaningful behind.
