Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Grier.
Hi Ashley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my picnic company back in January of 2022 and just recently purchased a charcuterie company called The Board and Box located in Woodstock, GA in April of 2022. Both companies work so well together as I always include Charcuterie with my picnic packages. It’s been a whirlwind so far. I’m so thankful to my local community who has helped me grow my business so quickly. A huge part of that has been attending the Canton Business Club as often as I can. The relationships and support I’ve gotten from there have been an important part of not only my business growth but personal growth as well with making connections with other business owners in the area.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’m a creative person. I always have been. So for me, the hardest part has been being able to stay organized within my businesses as well as in my home life. I’m a mom of three and it has definitely been hard balancing mom life with being a business owner of two companies.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in creating a space for new memories to be made through luxury picnics. I love being able to use my creativity to make a space beautiful and unique for my clients. All of my picnics include charcuterie for the occasion and thankfully I’m able to source them from my other business, The Board and Box. No matter what the celebration is, whether it’s a bridal shower, graduation, a wedding, a birthday party, or just a fun get-together, I can make any event memorable.

I am from Canton so I love being a part of the growth and seeing how my small town has grown into such an amazing community.
