Today we’d like to introduce you to Black Diamond.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m originally from Nashville TN. I moved to Atlanta in 2017 to pursue my music career. I started doing comedy skits and went viral in 2018 which landed me on Worldstar & a MTV show called Ridiculousness. Currently, I’m filming for a new upcoming reality show called Bad Bunnies Atl. I just signed a new management deal with Muscle Team Management and we released my new hit single “It’s Givin” featuring Love & Hip Hop reality tv star Just Brittany.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The hardest obstacle for me right now is losing my best friend Robin Taylor. She was my world and the only person who ever truly loved me for me. We started my music career together. She was the only person who ever believed in me and invested heavily into my career and being Black Diamond. She was killed two months ago. I honestly wanted to give up my music career after that, but I can’t let her down. I have to keep going.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a music artist but I’m also talented and creative in other areas. I’m an artist at heart so anything artistic I can do. I design decor, fashion, hairstylist, makeup artist, nail designer, etc. I do it all. Sometimes it’s hard to juggle all things I do.
The thing I’m most proud of is never giving up on myself.
My mindset is what sets me apart. I’ve gone thru a lot of things in life and it has molded me into something I can’t even explain. I’m unstoppable now
How do you define success?
Success is taking an idea and putting work into that idea until you’re satisfied with the outcome. Success is still continuing your dream no matter what happens.
