Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Bennett.
Hi Brandon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My music journey began in the 10th grade of 2005. After singing solely in church up until that point, I started to record myself at home with Mixcraft. A couple of songs around my school and town started to catch attention and I gained some early followers. Today, after years of training and making music I’m an artist of true versatility. Ranging from ballads to bars I’ve embraced all sounds and textures of the music. The journey is still alive and we are still striving every day to reach our goals musically.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some struggles included a lack of resources, life situations taking you away from the passion of a dream, and the unknown on the other side of the strive had us unclear of our potential.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Artist first. R&B has always been my calling, with the voice God has blessed me with. I’ve also taken a strong liking to particular styles of rap and flowing on beats. After practicing and studying the craft I eventually branched into owning studios and offering services to fellow artists. I’ve been doing this all for about 15 years now. What sets me apart is my true versatility as an artist. I like to explore different genres.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
God had always been first and my children (4) and family are always my main motivation.
