Hi Breshaun, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey of self-discovery and confidence through music, particularly from artists like Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. Their lyrics and strong presence inspired me to embrace my individuality. At the same time, I found my unique style influenced by Lil Uzi Vert, blending their vibes into my own.
In middle school, I began to experiment more with my fashion and personal expression, figuring out what truly resonated with me. It was a transformative time where I learned to prioritize my own feelings and preferences over what others thought. This mindset helped me grow into who I am today, confident and unapologetic about my style and identity.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely wasn’t always smooth. There were times when I felt like I had to stop being who I was just to fit in with the standards of how I was supposed to be seen. I tried to mold myself into what I thought others wanted. But one day, I had this realization that I really didn’t care what people thought about me anymore. That moment was a turning point, and it helped me embrace my true self without worrying about fitting into anyone else’s expectations.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I just post my different era outfits and styles on Instagram, and I’m known for my unique looks and the different egos I embody. What I’m most proud of is influencing people, even if they don’t always give me credit for it. It’s cool to see my style resonate with others and inspire them to express themselves, too! It really sets me apart because I embrace change and creativity in everything I do.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Good luck has played a huge role for me because I get to experiment with different outfits and styles, which keeps things exciting and fresh. On the flip side, the bad luck comes when people don’t give credit when they copy my looks. It can be frustrating, but I try to focus on the positive and keep doing my thing!
