Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Bernard Jr.
Bryan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am 21 years old from Memphis Tennessee. I found the passion for not only as an actor but for a writer at a young age. I just didn’t know where to start until I gotten older. I grew up with a single parent my mother and the help from grandparents whenever my mother went to work. I graduated from Cordova high school class of 2019. I did attend southwest community college but I dropped out just to focus more on my acting and etc.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes and no I mean of course when you start to do something in life it not going to be easy as you think. I experienced going through the trials and tribulations that god had me going through just to test my faith. I experienced trying to gain my respect as I am new to the industry. I often felt like I didn’t have. I lost people that I thought was rocking and I gain some that had my best interest. I remember nights where I just ate grits for dinner and breakfast.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an upcoming multi-talented actor/ singer & songwriter, screenwriter (writer in general) I even middle and take pictures. And I do direct my own projects. I am proud to say that no matter how big the storm was I kept going I believed in myself. My integrity is very something I must say, no matter if the people laughed at me and doubted me I didn’t let that get into my head. I didn’t let my situations in my life make me not feel proud of the small things that I have accomplished. What set me differently from others is me having the mindset I can always do better and more. And to stay doing different things.
