Today we’d like to introduce you to Campbell Cosentino.
Hi Campbell, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We began from the inception of a previous screen-printing & embroidery shop in January of 2023, that had built a legacy over the course of the past two decades. Since this merge of the two respective businesses a few years ago, we have continued to serve the customers and clients from the previous years, but have also since added new clientele and businesses to serve. While we engage in marketing and outside sales tactics, we have found that worth of mouth has been our best operative for organic growth. We take pride in the products we create and sell, and have spent days worth of time over these past few years, effortlessly working to perfect our system and process. From our front office and Customer Service team, all the way into the production and creation of our products. We work hard to create our experience personable, but equally so of high quality, showing our attention-to-detail in every aspect of our business.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This transition was not easy, and even leading up to recently have found that just because you offer a good product, there will always be complications and difficulties that you have to persevere through. We have had pitfalls in more ways than one such as losing large accounts, having complications with large jobs that require us to pivot, dealing with supply and pricing issues on some of the products we order, and more. That is part of being in this industry. That to say, we focus on building a team that works together, and strives for success in every project we have the good fortune of partaking in. We recognize that not every client will come back, not every bid or quote sent out will sprout into a high-paying client, but we know that if we continue to stand by our mission and what we believe in, that it will all come together!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Since starting my job here at Big Peach Premium, my “title” has gone through its fair share of changes. That to say I now am the General Manager here at our screen-print shop. My workload can include items such as, but not limited to: account management and client relations, financial tracking, planning, and analysis, HR management, client visits and renegotiation, and value creation in all things client-related! I firmly believe in building a version of you that carries through the workplace, but transpires in all things outside of work. This has taken me, but even more importantly my company far in more ways than one. Sure, revenue growth is awesome, (and necessary) and that is something we have seen in our few years here at BPP, but what kind of impact do we make? How do our clients see us? What am I doing to set myself apart from others? I like to think that it is my character and what I stand for that does just that. Putting others first, thinking of the little things, having difficult conversations, honest work, hard work, rewarding those around me to show my gratitude for them and what they do. Character. That is what I specialize in. And yes, I have found it to be of use in everything I do, inside and outside of the office.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
As a guy who was born in Atlanta, but since then has moved around. I more so ask myself what there is not to like! Aside from cool factor of getting all 4 seasons every year (sometimes snow too), I love the culture. The different restaurants, the different places to visit, the different people. It’s awesome. If I have to go into what there is “not” to like, I will be glad to give the stereotypical answer of the traffic, humidity, and pothole-packed roads.
