Rising Stars: Meet Caroline Kirsch of Fayette and Coweta County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caroline Kirsch

Hi Caroline, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story! We moved to Peachtree City about 12 years ago for my Husband’s Business. Peachtree City (PTC) is known for its 100-mile network of multi-use paths for pedestrians, cyclists, and golf carts. Residents can go anywhere within the City limits via these paths. There are even Golf Cart parking spots in the shopping villages and It is not uncommon to see someone driving a Golf Cart in the Chick-fil-A drive-thru.
We have two amazing kids, Kathryn (12) and Linden (9).

I joined The Local Moms Network in May of 2021. When I came across their Network on Social Media, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Their mission of “Giving Moms the Gift of Time” by curating a one stop shop where Moms can find all the necessary resources and information they need all in one place truly resonated with me. I am honored to be able to provide hyper-local community resources, guides, and local event information for Fayette and Coweta County. It is a great way to give back to a community I adore by connecting fellow Moms with local business and providers.

Most people don’t know I am also an Author of the local Children’s book, Goodnight Peachtree City. It follows a family riding on their Golf Cart waving Goodnight to all the local landmarks. I was inspired by my children but it is truly a love story to Peachtree City as well! It is retailed locally at Bloom Organics, The Heirloom Market, and The Peachtree City Visitor Center.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Transitioning from my career in Medical Sales to being a Stay At Home Mom was definitely not the easy passage I thought it would be. Though I loved being a new Mom (minus the sleep deprivation), I also missed the productivity, and comradery of my Corporate job. It definitely got easier with time but it took a while to adjust.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My background is in Medical Sales. I was a full line Diagnostic Account Executive with Siemens for 10 years prior to becoming a Stay at Home Mom. I believe my Medical Sales background has given me an incredible work ethic and my experience as Stay at Home Mom allows me to relate to Moms in our community looking for connection and easy access to resources.

I currently enjoy working along side the amazing Moms within The Local Moms Network who continually bring support and inspiration. Locally, I have also enjoyed meeting and getting to know so many local business owners and learning their stories. I especially love sharing our Meet A Mom segments, where you can read about some inspiring women as we highlight their businesses, success stories, projects, and/or fundraisers.

I have also hosted and co-hosted many local Events including Summer Palooza, Fashion’s Night Out, Women’s Wellness Summit, and a Mommy and Me event. I’m looking forward to more ways we can create connection for Moms within our community. I am also a Commercial Realtor with Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty!

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
The APP I couldn’t live without is my Kroger Clicklist. It’s made grocery shopping and budgeting such a breeze! For books, I’m currently re-reading One Day in December by Josie Silver for the third time. It’s simply the best beach and summer read. For Podcast, I rotate between several different investment podcasts, Invest Talk, Barron’s Streetwise, Compak Market Wrap, etc.
