Today we’d like to introduce you to Carter Lyn.
Hi Carter, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story starts long before I ever imagined doing what I do now. I always had this spark, a mix of curiosity and creativity but I didn’t always know how to channel it. Over time, through trial, mistakes, growth, and a lot of faith, I started to build something that felt true to who I am. I didn’t have a roadmap. What I had was a vision of creating something that connected with people and made them feel seen. So I started small. I learned as I went. I let the process shape me. And gradually, people began to resonate with what I was doing. One opportunity led to another, and before I knew it, I had created something that not only fulfilled me but also inspired others.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. Coming from a place where not a lot of people were doing what you were doing, sometimes it could feel like you had all eyes on you for doing the “unusual.” I was never really scared to put myself out there, it was more less about the reaction that I’d get from my peers.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work sits at the intersection of creativity, education, and empowerment. I’m a creative who specializes in short-form content, and I also teach digital marketing all while training as a dermatology DPA. Over time, my passion has shifted toward helping people understand the real ups and downs of content creation, how to navigate the space with confidence, and how to position themselves as their own brand. I love showing people that you don’t need a huge budget or a huge following to market yourself, build a presence, or secure brand deals. A big part of my work also focuses on financial literacy and teaching people how to sell online in a way that’s smart, sustainable, and accessible. Whether it’s through my content, my digital marketing course, or one on one mentorship, my goal is always to make things feel less intimidating and more achievable.
What I’m most proud of is that I’ve been able to step into all of this despite fear, fear of failing, fear of being judged, fear of trying something new. Pushing through that has helped me grow in ways I never expected. I’ve learned so much about myself, and in the process, I’ve built a community that feels genuine and supportive. What sets me apart is my intention. I don’t take on this work out of greed or to simply teach and disappear. When someone invests in my course or mentorship, I stay connected. I check in. I guide them. The support doesn’t end after one session it’s ongoing, because I truly want people to feel confident, capable, and seen. For me, it’s about impact, not numbers, and I think people can genuinely feel that in the way I show up.
What’s next?
One of my biggest plans is to develop more resources and programs that make learning feel easy, supportive, and accessible. I want to create spaces where people don’t just get information, but actual mentorship and long-term guidance. I’m also excited about eventually expanding my curriculum, offering more in-depth trainings, and building a stronger community around learning, growth, and financial freedom.
