Hi Cassidy , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
As a kid, I always loved music. I remember having a lyric book where I would print out lyrics to all my favorite songs and rehearse them. In my pre teen years, my friends and I created a girl group and we started doing talent shows. Once I graduated, I started taking acting classes and landed an agent. From there I started auditioning and booking, while also starting my solo musical journey in the studio.
Cassidy Reid is a true Renaissance artist who soulfully combines Pop, Hip-Hop and
R&B, to produce a sound that is so uniquely hers. As a creative and impressively
versatile artist, her authenticity and style has always drawn people to her. Cassidy is
an independent artist who has been in the industry for a few years and has certainly
made her mark on the world. She is now ready to reemerge for a whole new chapter
of her career, showcasing her most authentic self through her music.
Cassidy’s music evokes a strong emotional bond with her listeners through her
soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and enchanting vocals. She is genre-bending and
ever-evolving – constantly challenging herself to rise to new heights and let her most

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At some points it’s smooth, at some points there has been challenges.
The biggest challenge is figuring out peoples true intentions while navigating via the industry.
