Today, we’d like to introduce you to Richard and Chloe Driese.
Hi Richard and Chloe, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Richard and I am the father of a young, talented gymnast. Her name is Chloe and I wanted to just take the time to tell you her story.
Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Chloe has been defying the odds and capturing hearts both on and off the mat. She is an eight-year-old gymnastics sensation whose journey from the gym to the screen is extraordinary.
In the midst of the pandemic, Chloe embarked on her gymnastics journey, diving headfirst into the competitive world of the sport. Despite the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic, her dedication and passion for gymnastics grew stronger, propelling her to the top of her class.
Less than a year ago, Chloe shared her love for gymnastics with the world through her YouTube channel. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a sensation, with Chloe amassing over 100k followers and becoming YouTube-verified in record time. She has finally received her silver YouTube Creator Award while her channel continues to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
But Chloe’s talents don’t stop at gymnastics and YouTube. With a natural flair for the dramatic, she has also ventured into the world of acting and commercials. Despite her young age, Chloe has already begun making waves in the entertainment industry, showcasing her versatility and star potential.
As Chloe celebrates her eighth birthday, she is a shining example of talent, determination, and resilience. Her journey from the gym to the screen inspires aspiring athletes and performers everywhere, proving that anything is possible with passion, hard work, and creativity.
Let’s dig deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you overcome?
Chloe’s path in a sport as challenging as gymnastics is a constant struggle. She is in the gym 10 hours a week and even desires more time. She pushes herself to her limits. Her biggest obstacle was overcoming the fear of injury. Towards the beginning of this competition season, she injured her wrist while practicing a back handspring.
The wrist was examined and cleared, noting that there was no actual injury, but the fear that she had built up in her head took a few weeks to overcome. She did not give up and pushed through the fear, and now she can perform a back handspring and do about five consecutively.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
Chloe is known mostly for her gymnastics channel. She is consistently one of the highest scorers in all her competitions. This translates to her YouTube channel, where she provides tutorials and updates on her competitions and does fun challenges that her subscribers watch. She has over 14 million views on YouTube and over 100 thousand subscribers.
Her channel grows daily. Chloe’s work ethic is what sets her apart from others. She works out 10 hours a week in the gym, comes home to work out more, and still manages to record her YouTube videos, take photos, and audition for roles. Her drive for success at such a young age is inspiring.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is setting a goal and overcoming every obstacle to achieve that goal. Success is hard work and an attitude to never give up.
