Rising Stars: Meet Danasia Frazier of Detroit

Hi Danasia , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started styling back in 2021, but fashion has always been a part of who I am. Even before I made it official, I was the friend everyone came to for outfit advice and confidence boosts. I’ve always believed that style isn’t just about clothes , it’s about energy, presence, and how you choose to show up.

What started as a small passion quickly grew into Styledby.NaeNicole, a space where I could combine creativity, confidence, and connection. Through every client, lookbook, and project, I’ve learned that true style comes from within.

I’m still learning, still evolving, and still finding new ways to pour love into what I do. Fashion is my language, and styling is how I inspire others to step into their power,one look at a time.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting out as a stylist, one of my biggest challenges was believing in myself before others did. Building a brand from the ground up takes patience, confidence, and consistency ,especially when you’re still learning and growing along the way.

There were moments of doubt, creative blocks, and times when I questioned if I was good enough. Balancing real life while trying to chase a vision hasn’t always been easy either. But every obstacle taught me something ,how to trust my talent, stay disciplined, and keep showing up no matter what.

Those challenges shaped me into the stylist and woman I am today. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know I’m still just getting started.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a fashion stylist and creative director who specializes in helping women discover their personal style and show up as their most confident selves. Through my brand, Styledby.NaeNicole, I create lookbooks, virtual styling guides, and content that blend fashion with empowerment ,because I believe style is more than what you wear, it’s how you feel.

What sets me apart is my eye for detail and my ability to tell a story through every look. I mix glam, edge, and personality to help each client feel like the best version of themselves. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come ,building my brand from scratch, staying true to my vision, and inspiring other women to embrace their own uniqueness along the way.

My work is bold, feminine, and full of confidence , a reflection of the woman I’m still becoming

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is creating ,whether it’s putting together an outfit, styling a client, or just bringing a vision to life. Fashion has always been my peace; it’s where I feel most confident and free to express myself.

I’m happiest when I’m inspiring others ,helping someone see their own beauty, confidence, and potential through my work. Watching people light up when they feel good about themselves reminds me why I started.

Growth, peace, and purpose make me happy too. I love knowing I’m becoming the woman I once dreamed of ,still learning, still evolving, but proud of who I am and what I stand for
