Today we’d like to introduce you to David Minor.
Hi David, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
January 2022 I decided to start my studies to become a licensed life insurance agent. What motivated me was the tragic passing of my mom. Unfortunately, she didn’t have any so I personally experienced what families go through without it. I set out to help families because of the need for it in all communities. We see families using fundraisers and go fund me a lot and that leaves no room to mourn. The bigger picture is inheritance for the children or husband/ wife so that they could continue on with life with finances need to support them or eventually use to build generational wealth. This is my first year in and I’m loving it and the impact I’m making. Many people know me from having my own marketing company called Black and Gold Promotions, LLC to being a crypto and forex educator and investor. My determination along with integrity which was built strong by serving in the military and how I was raised are why I am who I am today. My purpose now is bigger than me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been easy at all. The road was not paved even. I went through a lot. From losing everything in financial hardships to failing at marriage and yes, I said failing at marriage. I learned a lot about myself through every loss and they all made me stronger.

I am an insurance agent benefits and financial advisor. Helping families achieve their financial goals and getting their selves covered is what I do. I am known for helping people understand crypto and forex. As stated earlier a lot of people from all over know my brand Black and Gold Promotions, LLC especially up in the downtown Atl and southside areas. It was known for putting on a lot of events and helping small businesses and artist grow locally and nationwide. What separates me from others is my determination and can do spirit. I won’t let anything conquer me. I am a firm believer that if you pray, put in the work, and dedicate yourself to succeed you could!
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
My hometown is Savannah, Georgia and what I like best is the fact that everybody is doing something to improve their quality of life our city has become more united as ever. Although our city is a little bit more united we still have the haters and division is still somewhat present. It’s not as bad as it used to be but its still something that is felt and present
