Rising Stars: Meet Decovia Daniels of Buford

Today we’d like to introduce you to Decovia Daniels.

Hi Decovia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Decovia Daniels. Born in Alabama raised north of Atlanta with a passion to entertain. After raising kids, I discovered my humorous side. Making people laugh gives me a joy like no other. A few years ago, I decided I wanted to be in front of the camera. I’ve done multiple background roles on shows such as BMF and P Valley. A couple of music videos, including Lil Duval. And eventually reached my goal of having multiple speaking roles. Two of which will be out this year. Same Day Delivery (comedy), and Full Figured Flings 2 (drama).

There is also something else I am passionate about, happiness. Statistics show there are more single women today than ever before. Many of those single women are sitting around waiting. Waiting for that husband. Waiting to go on that vacation. Waiting to go to that new restaurant. That has to end! We should be happy now! We should be finding peace now! I have created a guide to help single women shift from “waiting” to “living”. It’s a single woman’s strategy to reclaiming joy, finding peace and living unapologetically solo. We would all love to have a significant other. And I’m sure we will eventually. But until then…. let’s be happy.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am best known for my humor. I get so much joy from creating original, funny content. My mother has a friend on hospice. It’s hard for her to find something to smile about these days. But she asked my mother to tell me that my videos bring her joy. What more could I asked for? Laughter is necessary.

What are your plans for the future?
I have two goals for the future. One is to do commercials. I want you to be watching your favorite show and then BAM! There I am holding a bottle of Lysol 😆

The other goal is to reach as many single women as I can. Happiness is right around the corner. Let me show you the way.
