Today we’d like to introduce you to Demetris Faizon.
Hi Demetris, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started in the Event Consulting & Design business over 18 years ago. Since 2004, I have had the opportunity to create over 1,000 luxury events and many of these events have gone viral, attracting global recognition from followers and fans abroad that created my company De’Veilope Events.
I was born & raised in North Carolina, I have been blessed to come from a long lineage of talented and gifted musicians. This influence had a profound effect on me at an early age to pursue music as well as theater and the performing arts. I always had a passion for creativity and started out designing events in high school, soon after many who admired my work began seeking me for event services. This sparked the desire for me to launch into my own business. My family has always been my biggest supporter and today works alongside me in the company to create lasting memories others.
This support has allowed me to be able to design and produce some of the most glamorous weddings and events that continually trend on social media through Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has been a very maturing road through many growing pains but what I have learned is that sometimes pain is necessary for growth. I welcome the growing pains and being challenged continually to grow daily. In this journey, you have to always continue to evolve and ensure new goals have been reached and new opportunities explored.

I love to hone my skills and transform event spaces using inspiration through the customization of culinary menu development, event planning, lighting and sound productions, and floral designs.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I have been creative from an early age. I loved the theater and arts and musicality with being versed to play instruments as well. This creativity seamlessly led me into being creative in the event and production spaces for others.
