Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Moreno.
Hi Emily, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my career by building and running my own e-commerce brand from the ground up. I handled everything from branding and website development to marketing, operations, and customer experience. Grew the business to seven figures over five years. That experience gave me a deep, hands-on understanding of what actually moves the needle for a business, not just in theory but in practice.
After closing that chapter, I shifted into helping other businesses grow using the same strategies I used myself. I now work across digital marketing, business development, and brand strategy, partnering closely with business owners to help them increase visibility, improve systems, and scale sustainably. Alongside my professional work, I’m completing my bachelors in Business Administration, which allows me to combine real-world execution with strategic and analytical training.
Today, I’m focused on building brands with intention, helping businesses grow in a way that’s both profitable and aligned with long-term vision, while continuing to evolve as a marketer and business leader.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Building and running a business taught me quickly that growth comes with challenges, and I experienced everything from scaling pains and burnout to having to make difficult decisions during periods of personal and professional transition. There were moments where I had to completely reassess my priorities, systems, and leadership style.
Those struggles ultimately shaped how I work today. They forced me to become more disciplined, adaptable, and intentional. Especially when it comes to problem-solving and decision-making. Instead of seeing challenges as setbacks, I learned how to use them as data points to improve processes, strengthen strategy, and build more sustainable growth. In hindsight, those obstacles were essential in getting me to where I am now.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work centers around digital marketing, brand strategy, and business development. I specialize in helping businesses build strong foundations, really everything from positioning and messaging to content strategy, local SEO, and customer acquisition. I’m especially known for translating big-picture strategy into clear, executable systems that actually drive results.
What I’m most proud of is the fact that my experience isn’t just agency-based or theoretical. I’ve built and operated my own company, so I understand the realities business owners face, limited budgets, time constraints, and the need for marketing that delivers a return. That perspective allows me to create strategies that are practical, data-driven, and sustainable.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend creativity with structure. I don’t just focus on aesthetics or trends. I focus on alignment: aligning brand, audience, and execution so everything works together. I’m also very relationship-driven, which allows me to collaborate closely with teams and adapt strategies as businesses evolve. Ultimately, I’m known for being hands-on, intentional, and results-focused while still building brands that feel authentic and human.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is spending entire summers with my cousins. We come from a first-generation immigrant family, and during that time our parents were adjusting to life in America and working hard to build stability. We didn’t have much, but what we did have was each other.
As one of the oldest, I was often responsible for watching all the younger kids, but it never felt like a burden. We spent our days doing the simplest, silliest things, playing outside, making up games, and dancing around the house. Before iPads and tablets, our entertainment was music and imagination. We’d watch Michael Jackson videos and try to learn the Thriller dance together, laughing the entire time. Those summers taught me a lot about responsibility, creativity, and finding joy in the little things, and they’re memories I still cherish today.
