Today we’d like to introduce you to Fabiola Pierre
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey began at Florida International University’s Recreation and Wellness Center, where I organized my first major event—a sports job fair. With no template or prior experience, I relied on my determination and creativity to bring it to life. That experience sparked my passion for event production and talent management.
From there, I joined Rnbae Collective, where I co-produced events and festivals, refining my ability to curate talent and execute large-scale productions. Over time, I built strong relationships with artists and brands, establishing myself as a reliable force in the industry.
Now, I continue expanding my expertise through various ventures, including nationwide event staffing and full-service event coordinator . I also run Thrifts by Dexterity Faby, where I use my love for thrifting to help others find budget-friendly gems. Whether I’m managing events, curating talent, bartending, or working on creative collaborations, I thrive on bringing ideas to life and making meaningful connections.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all—it’s been a journey full of challenges, but each one has shaped me into who I am today.
When I first started, I had no roadmap or mentor to guide me through event production and talent management. I had to learn everything through trial and error, often navigating high-pressure situations with limited resources. Working in the entertainment industry also meant constantly proving myself in spaces where experience and connections can make or break opportunities.
Balancing multiple ventures—whether it’s registering lead , curating talent, or running Thrifts by Dexterity Faby—comes with its own set of struggles. Managing time, securing the right opportunities, and ensuring quality execution in every project requires adaptability and resilience.
Despite these challenges, I’ve learned to pivot, stay resourceful, and build a strong network. The struggles have made the wins even more rewarding, and they continue to push me toward bigger opportunities.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear many hats, but at my core, I specialize in event production, talent management, and creative branding. I’m known for my ability to bring people together—whether it’s curating talent for an event, staffing the right team for a production, or creating engaging experiences that leave lasting impressions.
One of my proudest accomplishments is my work with Rnbae Collective, where I co-produced major events and festivals, helping shape unique spaces for artists to thrive. I also take pride in Thrifts by Dexterity Faby, a project that allows me to merge my love for thrifting with community-building by sourcing budget-friendly finds for others.
What sets me apart is my versatility and resourcefulness. I’ve built my career by being hands-on, adaptable, and willing to take on challenges that others might shy away from. Whether it’s bartending an event, consulting on a brand’s creative direction, or managing a full-scale production, I bring a level of dedication and innovation that makes each project stand out.
What does success mean to you?
I define success as the ability to create meaningful experiences while staying true to my passions. It’s not just about accolades or financial gain—it’s about the impact I make, the connections I build, and the freedom to pursue what excites me.
Success, to me, is seeing an idea come to life, whether it’s a well-executed event, a perfectly curated thrift find for a client, or a collaboration that opens new doors. It’s about growth, resilience, and knowing that my work leaves a lasting impression. Ultimately, success is being able to do what I love while uplifting others along the way.
