Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Crockett.
Hi Hannah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was in elementary school, I received several opportunities to embrace my passion through writing contests and screenplays. I knew then, that I enjoy sharing my thoughts and vision with curated words. I feel that I can paint narratives through complete thoughts and structure.
Throughout my life, I embraced every opportunity to share my gift with an audience. I have traveled near and far to cover events for written articles and interviews. One of my biggest accomplishments is having my article published and posted by the artist 2Chainz.
With experiencing success, I have had the chance to decide what’s best and what’s next for me. I started a blog, THC Blogs, that will serve as a safe space for me to write about my personal interests in current events, music, sports, and community. THC stands for my name, The HannahC.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I have learned how to intentionally use my words. So, for me, I don’t call my chapters struggles or rough. I identify with transitions. I believe my path is Pre-written and God has allowed me to experience lessons that have helped build my character and purpose. Without transition, we would not become familiar with adapting. We need a specific type of awareness to continue in life, and it comes with practice.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’d like to consider myself a Media Enthusiast. I run a personal blog and I recently launched a podcast. I am known for covering Hip Hop with original articles and using my voice on YouTube and my social media. I am most proud of my resilience to pivot myself with each growing chapter. I evolve daily. What used to matter for me to write about no longer does because my growth lets me go deeper. What sets me apart from others is I’m Chosen by God. I am self-aware with my purpose, and I put effort into sticking with the plan God has orchestrated for me.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
At this present moment, I’d like to credit my Mother, Barbara Crockett, and my son Eli. The pandemic has presented transitions to us that we’ve never experienced before. With the strength of God, we have pushed through and are now embracing a moment of rebuild.
