Hi Heather, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a lifelong skincare junkie! I became hyper-focused on my skincare regimen when I was pregnant with my second son. I was working my dream job and daydreaming about pursuing my own passions when I learned that I would be laid off with the impending pandemic. This was the moment I knew I had nothing to lose by chasing my dreams… For a few years, I had been keeping notes about business ideas I wanted to pursue. Once I got settled into being home full time, I began to strategize about how to get my ideas off of paper and into reality. I still have so much I want to accomplish, but I am a proud, profitable small skincare business!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting this business has been anything but smooth! I chose to start in the middle of a global pandemic- which had so many inherit challenges- and if I’m honest, there was so much that I just didn’t know. My biggest struggle was finding formulas that I wanted for my skincare. The second biggest struggle has been introducing Madame Francois Skincare to a broad audience. The good thing is so many people value and trust Madame Francois after they see their skin’s results!
