Hi Honeysuckle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Honeysuckle Moon was created in my Mother’s Louisiana kitchen in 2005 as a response to the underrepresentation of products made specifically for melanated skin challenges and to counter the everyday stress humans experience. We are a plant based self care + spa wellness company that focuses on product manufacturing and day spa operations. We proudly offer 100% vegan, plant and mineral based skin care product formulations and organic spa therapies with the intention of supporting the skin wellness journey, stress management goals and wholistic wellbeing of Black + Brown + Indigenous communities in local and global communities.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The way I see it, there will always be obstacles to overcome in business.
Whether it’s the financial ebb and flow, location challenges or supply chain variances, being on top of each situation and having a willingness to provide realtime quality solutions makes a huge difference in business operations.

CEO, L’Angela Lee, is a licensed skin therapist who is committed to helping persons achieve both inner and outer beauty through stress reducing and skin optimizing, self care + spa therapies. We aim to inspire mindfulness, build sisterhood and elevate work life balance through providing our signature products, organic facials, foot reflexology, exfoliation, ear candling, aromatherapy, spa parties and wellness classes. Honeysuckle Moon is a local, yet globally recognized brand on the mission to cultivate healthier skin + happier humankind while preserving nature.
