Hi Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a passion for makeup and art growing up. I’ve always known this was something I’ve always wanted to do . Just making people feel beautiful in their own skin
Its just an amazing feeling . I just love the confidence boost they have after their makeup or hair appointments with me. First starting out my beauty business,
I freelanced a bit and built a name for myself . I mainly only did makeup applications when i started out , but i knew this was only the beginning. I wanted to continue growing in my career , so I eventually went to school for cosmetology. After finishing school, I immediately went to get my license for cosmetology and well the rest is history. I’ve always known this was something ive always wanted to do and im finally able to do it professionally. I eventually grew another passion for hairstyling and expanded my services to both hair and makeup. One would say I’m done at this point but this only the beginning for my career . I still have alot to learn and grow as both a person and a master cosmetologist.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have my career ups and downs like any other. Whats challenging for me though would be that I need to manage my time and speed when working on clients makeup or hairstyles. I really aim for perfection and that slows me a tad bit. I’ve slowly worked on it as time goes on. I don’t take as long as when I first started out and that’s improvement already.

I am a licensed master cosmetologist who mainly focuses on makeup and hairstyling services for any occasion. For example, quinceañeras , sweet sixteens , bridal parties, weddings or if you’re in need of getting dolled up then I’m available. I’m known for my hollywood waves hairstyle, soft glam makeup, and bold eyeshadows looks. I can do super colorful makeup applications to a very soft natural look. Im very versatile. Same goes for hairstyling.
I’d say I’m pretty proud of the way I’ve grown as a business women and mastering new techniques for my clients overall. There’s always room for growth.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The biggest advice I’d wish I had known since day one would be to have patience with yourself and just keep looking ahead. Many might doubt you or not support you, but you keep your head held up high . The ones who do support you, keep them close. The best thing you can have is a support system. You’re only growing & same for your business. Also don’t ever be afraid to branch out for help or assistance. You never know what you could learn from others.
