Today we’d like to introduce you to Julius Miles.
Hi Julius, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After graduation from Georgia State University with a BS in Exercise Science, I began working in fitness in doing corporate wellness at companies in the metro area. I started training clients, teaching classes and doing bootcamps at those locations. Soon after, I created TempleBuilders Personal Training. I went into business for myself and as my business grew, I decided I needed my own location to train clients.
In 2016, I opened Gladiator Fitness Atlanta, located in Midtown.
Aside from training clients there in person, I also coach clients virtually through my TBPT Fitness App.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t always been smooth. I found myself unhappy with doing corporate wellness and knew I was more passionate about coaching people.
It was not easy to step outside my comfort zone to work for myself. It was not easy to sign a lease for my own building and it hasn’t been easy to maintain high level of service and also run an online business.
It’s has been very rewarding. Every up and down, I don’t regret any of it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a fitness and nutrition coach. I offer both in person and online services.
I cater to lifestyle clients as well as those who want to do body-building competitions.
My passion and my attention to detail set me apart. I want to see all my clients win. Whatever their goal is I want to help them reach it.
