Today we’d like to introduce you to Keeks F.
Hi Keeks, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always had the creative, artsy gene since I was born. My brand will forever consist of Fashion, Dance (though retired) and Design. I’ve always been a fashionista, I was a dancer for 18 years and now I am exploring the design world, focusing in Residential Interior Design field.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say it’s a little bumpy ride being in the design world because so many people are starting to hop on the bandwagon, but there are so many outlets and opportunities that it’s a fun challenge figuring out what works best. In most fields. It’s all about growth and experience which is why I love my journey!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am in the Interior Design world, focusing on Residential Design. As of right now, I help with materials and fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms of the home. I love seeing those selections being placed in the home and bringing the vision to life! What sets me apart is my educational background, proud Northern Kentucky University (B.A in Studio Arts) and Savannah College of Art and Design Alum (B.F.A in Interior Design) so I can definitely explore Commercial, Hospitality, Workspace design and visual arts.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Favorite childhood memories would have to be dance competitions and visiting ‘Homs-A-Rama’ back in my hometown.
