Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenarri.
Hi Kenarri, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised on the Southside of Atlanta, around LOTS of creatives. At first, my go-to method of expression was writing poems that I kept to myself. That evolved into songwriting and eventually, I started recording my songs and sharing them with my friends.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any journey, mine was for sure filled with many bumps in the road. One of my biggest struggles has to be finding a balance between music and my personal life. Sometimes it can be difficult to find time due to also being a full-time student and working.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an artist, rapper, singer, and songwriter. I’m proud of my endurance and perseverance more than anything. There’s been plenty of reasons and events in my life that could have stopped me from pursuing a career in music, but despite the odds, I stayed true to my passion. The attribute I feel sets me apart from my peers is authenticity. My music is raw and emotional and 100% me. When you listen, I want it to be a therapeutic experience for me and the listeners.
