Rising Stars: Meet Kloe Hilton of Chattanooga & Destination

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kloe Hilton.

Hi Kloe, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Story – Maison & Vow

Maison & Vow was born from a season of reinvention — one where I chose courage, creativity, and purpose over everything that tried to hold me back.

Before Maison & Vow existed, I ran a marketing business called A Business Loop Co. It served its purpose, taught me the ropes, and gave me the confidence to carve out my own space in the world of content creation. But as my life shifted — becoming a mom of two, navigating major transitions, rediscovering my voice, and seeing how powerful storytelling can be — I realized it was time to build something that reflected not just what I do, but who I am becoming.

Maison & Vow represents that transformation.

The name symbolizes home and promise — a commitment to creating intentional, emotional, meaningful content that preserves the beauty of life’s real moments. It’s a vow to the families, brands, and couples who trust me to tell their story with heart. It’s also a vow to myself: to keep growing, keep creating, and keep choosing passion over fear.

Today, Maison & Vow offers photography, videography, social content, and memory-driven experiences that help families and brands capture moments that matter. Whether it’s a wedding, a milestone, or a brand story, my approach is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and emotion. I want people to feel the story — not just see it.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I built this business while rebuilding myself, pushing through anxiety, new motherhood, and starting over. But every challenge shaped me into someone stronger, more creative, and more determined to create something beautiful out of all the hard chapters.

Maison & Vow is more than a business; it’s a story.
A story of resilience.
A story of motherhood.
A story of rebuilding.
A story of remembering your vow to yourself — even when life forces you to begin again.

And I’m just getting started.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Building Maison & Vow wasn’t a straight path. It came with some of the hardest chapters of my life — chapters that forced me to grow, rebuild, and rediscover my own strength.

One of the biggest challenges was starting my business during a season of personal upheaval and healing.
I was becoming a mom, navigating major transitions in my personal life, and trying to find stability while also creating a future for my family. Learning how to show up creatively while dealing with anxiety, exhaustion, and emotional recovery was a constant balancing act.

Leaving behind my previous brand, A Business Loop Co., was another challenge.
It wasn’t failing — but it wasn’t aligned with who I was becoming. Letting go of something familiar, starting fresh, and trusting myself with a complete rebrand took courage. There was a lot of fear:
What if people didn’t understand the shift? What if it didn’t work? What if I had to start from zero again?
But it taught me that the right direction often requires walking away from what’s comfortable.

Another obstacle was rebuilding my confidence as a creator and as a woman.
There were moments when I doubted my skills, questioned my worth, and felt like life had taken too much from me to keep going. But creating — photography, video, storytelling — became my anchor. It was the one thing I could always return to, even when everything else felt overwhelming.

Being a mom while building a creative business is its own challenge.
There’s no clocking out. I’m editing between nap times, taking client calls in the car, planning shoots around doctor appointments, and growing a brand while raising tiny humans. It’s beautiful, but it’s demanding. And it forced me to learn boundaries, time management, and grace for myself.

Financial instability in the beginning was also real.
Starting over meant investing money I didn’t always have, taking risks on equipment, software, and branding. There were months where I questioned whether I should keep going, but every small win — a new client, a good shoot, a message from a follower — reminded me that the dream was worth it.

The biggest challenge, though, has been choosing to push forward despite everything that tried to hold me back.
There were circumstances I couldn’t control, people who doubted me, and moments when life felt heavier than my ambition. But choosing peace, choosing my kids, choosing my future — that became the foundation of Maison & Vow.

And it’s those challenges that make this brand meaningful.
They shaped the way I create, the way I tell stories, and the empathy I bring to every project.

Maison & Vow wasn’t built in perfect conditions — it was built in the middle of real life. And that’s exactly why it’s strong.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Maison & Vow, I specialize in storytelling through photo, video, and content creation — but not in a traditional, posed, perfection-driven way. My work is rooted in emotion, intention, and authenticity. I create visual stories that feel like home: warm, honest, and full of connection.

I work with families, couples, and brands to capture moments that matter — everything from wedding day memories to motherhood milestones to brand stories that need depth and heart. Whether I’m filming a wedding, documenting a maternity session, or creating social content for a business, my focus is always on the story behind the moment.

I’m most known for capturing raw emotion.
Clients tell me all the time that my work “feels like a memory they can hold onto.” I love catching the quiet in-between moments — the hand squeeze, the shy smile, the breath before the vows, the way a mother looks at her child. My goal is to create content that people don’t just look at, but feel.

What I’m most proud of is the heart behind Maison & Vow.
This brand was built during one of the hardest seasons of my life, and instead of breaking me, it became the thing that helped me rebuild. I’m proud that I’ve created a business that speaks to resilience, motherhood, healing, and choosing yourself even when it’s hard. Every project feels like a small celebration of how far I’ve come.

What sets me apart is the emotional depth I bring to my work.
I’m not just capturing what something looks like — I’m capturing what it means. I approach every session with a mix of creative direction and real empathy, because I’ve lived through enough life to know the value of preserving moments before they disappear. I connect deeply with my clients, and that trust translates into the kind of work that feels genuine, soulful, and timeless.

Another thing that sets Maison & Vow apart is that I merge storytelling with modern content strategy. I create visuals that are beautiful for albums and keepsakes but also optimized for digital platforms and brand growth. It’s the perfect blend of art and strategy.

In short:
I help people tell their stories beautifully — whether it’s a family milestone, a brand message, or a once-in-a-lifetime moment. And I do it with heart, purpose, and a promise to honor the moments that matter most.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something most people don’t know is that my ability to capture emotion so deeply comes from my own experiences with loss, change, and starting over. I understand how fast moments can slip away, and that’s why I’m so passionate about preserving them. My work is rooted in gratitude for the moments I never want people to take for granted.
