Hi Laquetta, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Photography was a journey when I was at my lowest point and every picture I took, I painted it. I took pictures everywhere to remind me life isn’t just about living and paying bills. I see the true meaning of someone through a camera. Overall, photography isn’t a career choice, but it’s sure puts you in the right doors.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Sometimes it’s a smooth road & sometimes it isn’t. Mentally & emotionally, the struggles are lessons to me that are worth learning from & getting a better understanding. You live through a image everyday.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Landscape Photography is my passion for everything. My name, OpenYourMind, is the most valuable thing in my life right now. I open my eyes to things I should’ve appreciated more every day. I learn from different photographers and get a better perspective on how they work in different areas of the industry.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
To be honest, I am neutral.
