Hi Lauren, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hey there, My name is Lauren and I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in North Georgia and the Atlanta area. My journey with photography started in my teens, shooting senior portraits, families, and sports events. Back then, I just loved documenting people and moments, not realizing how much that passion would grow over time.

It wasn’t until after my own wedding that everything clicked. Experiencing the emotion, beauty, and joy of that day made me realize how much I love… LOVE. That’s when I knew I wanted to tell love stories for a living.

I didn’t jump in blindly. I reached out to established wedding photographers in my area and offered to second shoot so I could learn the ropes and grow under their mentorship. I’m so thankful for those early opportunities — they taught me so much, helped me find my style, and gave me the experience I needed to build a portfolio I was proud of.

Eventually, I started booking weddings of my own, and I’ve been consistently shooting ever since.

Today, I specialize in capturing weddings with a romantic, film-like approach — blending documentary-style candids with an editorial eye to create timeless, heartfelt images. My focus is always on the real moments: the quiet glances, the genuine laughs, and everything in between.

At the heart of it all, I’m a girl with a camera and a deep love for people, incredibly grateful for the support of my husband, family, and friends who have encouraged me every step of the way. Their belief in me has made this dream possible, and I carry that gratitude into every story I have the honor of capturing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not exactly — but every challenge has helped me grow. In the beginning, I had to figure everything out from scratch: how to build a business, find clients, and balance the creative side with the logistics. There were moments of doubt and slow seasons, but I kept going with the support of my husband, family, and friends. Their encouragement got me through, and every bump in the road made it even more meaningful.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a storytelling photographer specializing in weddings, engagements, families, and brands. My style blends romantic, editorial imagery with genuine, candid moments — capturing the real emotions and in-between details that tell each unique story.

What sets me apart is the intentional experience I provide. With my Heirloom Luxe wedding package, couples receive a booklet of Polaroids before their send-off, so they can relive the day right away. I pour care and heart into every step of the process, creating timeless images that feel true, personal, and lasting.

Any big plans?
I’m excited to keep growing—both creatively and in how I serve my clients. I’m working on refining the client experience even more, adding thoughtful touches that make each story feel personal and memorable. I’d also love to take on more destination weddings and explore new locations with my couples. No huge changes right now—just continuing to do what I love, and staying committed to always getting better at my craft.
