Hi Meezy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began in college. As I’m navigating the phases of higher learning, I found myself in a battle of pursuing my passion or career. Once I graduated, I decided I was going to go all in on my passion because I didn’t want to live with any regrets. That brings us to the person you see in front of you today. This journey has bought me a lifetime of lessons, but the passion is what fuels me to keep on going.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
If the road was smooth, I would be worried. The ride has had it ups and downs, but the struggle has molded me to be a better artist, father, and overall businessman. One main struggle is navigating the industry with no backing. Being forced to learn how things work and how to insert yourself in what is known as today’s “machine.” Learning marketing, promoting, and much more are the bigger parts that make the difference.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a musician, but as of currently, I specialize in hip-hop. My work has evolved over the years. I tend to focus on the aspect of family and business. I feel as humans our job is to set the standards for the generation following. I’ve learned my lessons and went through what I went through in life, so the generation after shouldn’t have to. I strive to teach those lessons and give a bird’s eye view of my goals and aspiration for me and the next few generations to come. “I aspire to inspire; now watch me take this higher.”
