Today we’d like to introduce you to Nakari Napier.
Hi Nakari, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From a young age, I’ve always been a creative soul. I was always drawn to the idea of creating something from scratch and expressing myself through my creations. It started off with playing instruments, writing poetry and music, photography and eventually creating my own clothing brand. Having been through multiple hardships and battles, I’ve always been able to stick to who I am and get to where I am today by reminding myself who I am and what I’m capable of.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Wanting to start my own clothing brand and photography wasn’t easy, the hardest part is starting. Taking that leap of faith and wanting to take action but very intimidating for many, but once you overcome that feeling and remind yourself why you’re wanted to start and the rewards that will soon come that feeling soon starts to dissipate.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m well known for my skills in film photography and also my clothing brand. I’m most of the fact that I started and till this day continue to push myself to create. I try to set myself apart from others by taking a different approach to my art and clothing brand. Instead of trying to mimic everyone else I create my own lane.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was also the ambivert and artist kid. I was also interested in anything art (Painting, music, instruments, photography, etc.).
