Hi Nic, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
King Mac’s Workshop was founded by my father who is now in heaven back in December of 2020. My Dad was my first customer who wanted a resume made from scratch based on his work experience. I will never forget the amazed look he had on his face once I handed him the finished product. He was very pleased with my work.
I will never forget him saying to me, “Son, you need to start your own business and help others who may need their resume done.” Ever since December 2020, my resume business has kicked off every day. How I got to where I am today was from the motivation from family, and friends, and taking a leap of faith. King Mac’s Workshop started just doing resumes but now offers a variety of services which includes the following: Interview assistance, job placement assistance, online job assessment assistance, and more!
Since my business was launched, I have received over 500+ customers who have all fairly enjoyed working with me and now work with reputable companies.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would be lying if I said this road has been easy, it wasn’t. It took a lot of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to get to where I am today. I love helping others become successful and reach their full potential in life as that is what I strive for daily. Some of my struggles along the way were learning how to “balance” my day-to-day life, full-time job, and focus on building my business while ensuring I still take time for myself to enjoy life.
Another struggle I had to face was the passing of both my grandmother and father who were my biggest supporters aside from my family who still lives today. With the continued support from my family and friends, I push myself every day to remain positive and focused.

My goal is to ensure you are set up for success and your resume aligns with your background skills. I also offer one-on-one virtual interview assistance to help those get ready and prepared to sit in front of the hiring manager for an interview in which I have been told has been one of the best services offered. When you come to King Mac’s Workshop you can also expect helpful tools to be given to you along with your completed resume to help you be successful in searching for your career choice. Lastly, for all Georgia residents I offer Notary Services which include: Loan Documents, Refinances, Mortgage, Trust, Title/Bill of Sales, I-9 verifications, and more for a reasonable price. Any big plans?
I plan to open my own building in late 2025, early 2026 where everyone will be welcomed to work with me face-to-face and get assistance for those who prefer in-person services. I also plan to expand my business nationwide and offer travel services to customers who are referred to me that are out of state, or even inquired about my services that prefer in-person services as well. As of now, I only offer virtual services nationwide to people of all ages, colors, and backgrounds. My overall goal is to have my business pay my bills and my full-time job fund my lifestyle.
