Hi O.C., we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started out just creating things for my kids, family, and friends. I always got great feedback from anything I did. Which started the journey. I started modeling as a joke and grew into it more as a way to deal with my insecurities, now I absolutely love the runway and a camera.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Not a smooth road at all. I still have my trying times. You might be busy and booked one month and dry as the desert the next month. I just continue to push myself, remind myself why I do what I do. And remind myself that I don’t know who I might be helping or encouraging along the way.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an entrepreneur, model, and nonprofit organization. I specialize in making baskets for all occasions. Most of my baskets are tailored to my customer’s budget. I’m mostly known for my creativeness with my fashion shows and of course, my walk is one of a kind. Lol. I’m most proud of my latest venture to start a nonprofit in honor of my son who recently passed away. I try to give back to organizations that he loved and the less fortunate. I’m different because the vision that God gives me is mine alone. No one can create what I create.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yes. Anyone can get sick and die. Get life insurance. Funerals are not cheap.
