Today we’d like to introduce you to Oshun Love.
Hi Oshun, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I spent a long time searching for my purpose and trying to figure life out on my own. I’m naturally shy and introverted and fear held me back for years. When I finally prayed and asked God what He wanted me to do, the answer was clear: Sing. As I grew closer to God, I realized fear is not from Him, so I chose faith instead. I created a home studio & recorded my music, released my EP/ singles and trusted God with the results.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The music has been doing great! Positive comments and feedback. However, since releasing music, I’ve been quietly dealing with spiritual warfare. Prayer, fasting and a lot of conversations with God has helped me tremendously.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a faith based artist. I make music that’s real, spiritual and honest. My sound comes from my walk with God and real life, not trends. I focus on music that uplifts, heals and speaks to people where they are. I’m most proud of releasing my EP and singles by faith and seeing how the music is really connecting to people.
What sets me apart is that I move with purpose. I don’t separate my faith from my work at all. Everything I create comes from prayer, obedience and real growth. I’m not just making music, I’m building something meaningful and letting God lead the whole way.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Being a kid again lol. Back then I couldn’t wait to grow up. I wanted to be an adult so bad. Now that I am, I realize being grown comes with real responsibilities and no excuses.
