Rising Stars: Meet Peter Joseph of Newnan, Georgia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Peter Joseph.

Hi Peter, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a second-generation plumber, and I’ve been around job sites for as long as I can remember. Plumbing was simply part of my everyday life growing up. I spent years observing the trade firsthand—watching repairs, learning how systems worked, and gradually developing an understanding of plumbing long before I ever considered it as a career.
As I got older, those observations turned into hands-on experience. Summers were spent assisting on repipes, water heater installations, trenching for water lines, and tackling the kinds of physically demanding jobs that give you a real appreciation for the trade. Those early years taught me not just technical skills, but also discipline, problem-solving, and how to work through challenges that initially feel uncomfortable.
After high school, I explored other paths, but eventually realized that plumbing was the career where my experience, skill set, and desire to serve people naturally aligned. I committed fully to the trade, learned residential service work inside and out, and eventually earned my plumbing license after extensive study and field experience.
Over time, I developed a deep appreciation for service plumbing—not just fixing pipes, but helping people in stressful situations and providing solutions they can trust. That mindset shaped the way I approached my work and later, my business.
Eventually, I took the leap into starting my own plumbing company. In the early days, resources were limited. I worked with basic tools, a modest setup, and a strong commitment to quality. Each job was an opportunity to build trust, refine my processes, and grow one step at a time. The focus was never on rapid expansion, but on doing excellent work and treating customers well.
That approach paid off. Word of mouth referrals grew steadily, and the business reached a point where I could invest in a proper service vehicle, professional branding, and systems that supported long-term growth. As the company matured, I narrowed my service area to focus on efficiency and consistency, allowing me to better serve customers while maintaining a sustainable workload.
Today, I have earned over 100 five-star Google reviews, and have even been recognized multiple times as a Best of Georgia award winner—an honor that still feels remarkable, especially considering that I remain a one-man operation.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think the plumbing industry is an amazing industry for anyone to consider. There are so many different aspects one can delve into. Personally, I love residential service. I enjoy showing up to multiple job sites in one day, fixing problems, and moving onto the next job. No two jobs are ever perfectly alike. However, there is also new construction, remodel, commercial, even industrial and medical gas, all of which have their own unique “feel.”
