Today we’d like to introduce you to Rashun Prince.
Hi Rashun, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
So a few years back, I left a company that i was with for about two years give or take, i told my self i was done working in the apparel industry. But a good friend of mine (Brian) asked me to join him and a few other friends to help them, you know, build their company. I asked them to give me a few moments to think about it and ill get back to you. Few days later l, once I decided on my decision, which i said yeah, let’s do it.
I instantly thought of the name PozVibez apparel. We are all owners, we have all positive mindsets, we are always constantly striving to be positive and help people become optimistic to have positive mindsets.. which is why we found positive vibez to be a great fit because that’s what we like to surround ourselves with.
It wasn’t an easy journey, when we first started, we started off booming. We had a few hiccups to overcome. We had some minor setback moments but just like every other business, you have downfalls, as friends, families, and owners we remains positives and stuck together. Our supporters helped us stay where we were, we are firm believers, and positive vibes are what you want to attract.
We understand that no one‘s perfect to understand that there are going to be times when people think negatively but having the right people around you will help you stay positive and help you stay in the right direction. We have had some great people who stuck with us through the bad times, the good times, the successes and the setbacks, people who you know are there for you and the message.
Also, they know we are all positive people who want the best for you first and foremost. Our company is constantly growing and changing, and we just want to stay on the right side of change.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We had our successes and setback moments but we have remained positive and stick together as a team and we have overcame so much you know I was saying behind-the-scenes no we had some downfalls. You know I could take the blame for some of that but it’s all part of growing pains but most definitely, yeah, we’ve overcome a lot of obstacles and setbacks, we almost were at a point that we almost let the setbacks defeat us and give up, but we had positive people in our circle saying motivating us & telling us not to give up, to remain positive and stay fighting. We changed our mindset to all positivity and we are still here.
We had so many people dislike us along the way! We have had many of people talk bad about us and want to see us fail, but those people who knew us you know, knew the truth knew that we were positive people knew that we were making a difference and trying to be as optimistic as we can be. I think the biggest struggle we always had was giving our all to everyone else and not filling back our club we got burnt out and our crate our creative fluids would lack and it would our production would show but someway somehow we found a way to rejuvenate and make it happen to have your other owners live in another state is difficult you know trying to be on the same page trying to meet trying to have meetings trying to make decisions is hard because we’re all different schedules.
We’re all office responders so it is difficult trying to you know meet via Zoom call or you know give everyone the 411 it is a struggle, but we found the way.
I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
So I am currently a supervisor at my respective police department. I am known for no community outreach you know social media, influencing, and just being a positive light in the community and being that beacon of hope I dance sometimes what am I most proud of is being able to see people smile knowing that when they see me around, they know it’s going to be ok.
They know that their needs and their safety are first, no matter what you are who you are are where you’re from you are first. What sets me apart simple who I am and what I stand for in my name for those who know me they know that I am different because I don’t wanna be like anyone else. What makes me unique is that I stay true to myself; I stay in my lane I don’t try to hop in someone’s lane. I respect others when I’m right or wrong. I’m always willing to learn and grow because no one is perfect, and I understand I’m not perfect, but I’ll always stay positive no matter what and I don’t get mad ever.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to keep growing this company’s amazing family, show that this amazing Poz Vibez apparel is the way of life, but most importantly, my future planning is to keep growing in my department and consistently progressing.
The plans I’m looking forward to seeing is everyone growing, seeing the community, seeing the family, seeing people come together as one unit. I’m changing with society instead of being behind a trend. I want us to Be ahead of the trend, we want to be the new trend “be a vibe” those are my plans.
