Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha.

Sasha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Before 2021, I was a women chasing stability and purpose. I had built a career in communications, radio, and later the Post Office – always giving my bes, but deep down feeling there was something more I was meant to do.

Then in 2021, everything stopped when doctors told me my life was in danger and that i could lose my nose. It was a moment that change everything. Instead of falling into fear I decide to create something that would give me strength- and help other women find theirs. That’s how Trends by S was born .

What started as a simple idea became a reminder that beauty is not about perfection, is about resilience. I’ve learn to celebrate my scars, share my srory, and remind others that even in pain there is purpose .

In 2023 I went back to my full time job, while continuing to grow .It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been powerful, proof that faith, discipline, and passion can rebuild what fear once tried to destroy.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not alt all. It’s been a journey of ups and downs, healing , working full-time, and slowly building Trends by S from the ground up. There were moments of doubt and exhaustion, but reminded me that purpose doesn’t come from perfection it’s come from perseverance .

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I’m Sasha Navedo — a communicator, entrepreneur, and storyteller at heart. I currently work for the U.S. Postal Service, and on the side, I run Trends by S, a small but meaningful online boutique that was born from one of the hardest chapters of my life.

Through Trends by S, I specialize in curating accessories and pieces that make women feel confident, beautiful, and seen — not just on the outside, but within. What started as therapy during my healing process has become a movement of self-love and resilience.

People often recognize me for my transparency and authenticity. I share my story openly — living with a visible medical condition — to remind others that beauty and strength can coexist with scars.

I’m most proud of turning pain into purpose and showing others that you can rebuild your life with grace, even when it doesn’t look perfect.

What sets me apart is my heart behind everything I do. Whether it’s through my job, my brand, or my story, I lead with empathy, faith, and the desire to make others feel less alone. My scars tell a story — and I’ve learned they can be the most beautiful part of me.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t about numbers or recognition — it’s about peace, purpose, and impact. It’s waking up every day knowing that I’m doing something meaningful, even if it’s small.

Success is using my story to inspire others, turning pain into purpose, and seeing growth — not just in my business, but in my heart. It’s being able to look at my scars, my struggles, and my journey and say, “God still used it for good.”

To me, success means walking in purpose, helping others heal, and continuing to grow with grace — no matter how imperfect the road looks.
