Today we’d like to introduce you to Shaniel Tirado
Hi Shaniel, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Well I’m a professional SpecialFx and beauty makeup artist. Born in the beautiful USVI (St.Thomas) migrated to Orlando,Fl when I was 8 yrs old and lived in Orlando until I moved here last year . Iam a mother and a entrepreneur .
I was a teen mom at the age of 14 and 19 and again at 42 yrs old , so I have three beautiful kids 29,24,and 2 yrs old. (Crazy I know) My older children are doing well for themselves one is in the Navy the other just graduated from Georgia State and is pursuing a career in dentistry .
I packed up everything and stepped out on faith and moved to Atlanta last year in pursuit of my dreams of working on movie sets and working on celebrities . Full-time .
I also have plans on going back to school to become more advance in special fx makeup.
I’ve worked on sets before , tv stations , done fashion shows (even free) travelled to do weddings, and networked often to get my name out ,that’s how my brand grew in Orlando. I plan on being even greater in this fabulous city as well!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Struggles on the way was my mother ended up having three strokes in a year and now iam her caregiver in the midst of working , raising a 2 yr old and Working odd jobs to get by.

. I specialize in special fx , fantasy makeup . Iam proud of perfecting my craft of special fx Halloween and fantasy makeup. I’m proud of my natural ability to be creative and not being afraid to express it.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
To keep going no matter what. Perseverance pays off. The road to success is long and lonely one
