Rising Stars: Meet Slay of ATLANTA GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Slay.

Hi Slay, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My passion for home decor, interior design, and home organization began over a decade ago. I started my Instagram account 10 years ago simply to share tips, inspiration, and little styling ideas that brought joy to my own space. Over time, my community grew, and I began helping others with their homes—first casually, then professionally.

Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of decorating many homes and continue to offer e-design services for clients who want a beautifully curated space from anywhere in the world. Today, I’m a full-time content creator across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest, sharing daily inspiration, Amazon finds, and styling ideas that make home feel more like you.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In the beginning, I was just sharing what I loved without any strategy or expectations, but as my platform started to grow, so did the pressure. There were times when I felt overwhelmed trying to balance creativity with consistency, especially when I wasn’t seeing the results I hoped for. Engagement would fluctuate, algorithms would change, and I often had to adapt quickly while still staying true to my style.

One of the biggest challenges was learning everything on my own — from content creation and editing, to managing client expectations and running the business side of things. There were long nights, self-doubt, and moments I questioned if I should keep going. But my passion for home decor and helping others kept me grounded. Every struggle became a lesson, and looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and the community I’ve built. It’s not always easy, but it’s 100% worth it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a full-time content creator specializing in home decor, interior styling, and home organization. My work centers around helping people create beautiful, functional spaces—whether it’s through tips I share on social media or personalized e-design services. I’ve built a community across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest, where I inspire others with affordable styling ideas, Amazon home finds, and seasonal decor transformations.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend aesthetics with practicality—I don’t just showcase pretty spaces; I offer real, usable advice that anyone can apply in their own home. I’m most proud of turning my passion into a full-time career and being able to help thousands of people feel more at home in their space. Whether it’s through a 15-second reel or a full room makeover, my goal is always to inspire and uplift.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was always creative, curious, and drawn to beauty and structure. I loved organizing spaces, decorating, and finding ways to make any environment feel inviting and visually pleasing. After finishing my degree in finance, I worked in the media industry in Turkey and appeared in several Turkish TV dramas and shows. While I enjoyed being in front of the camera, I found myself more intrigued by the behind-the-scenes work—how sets were styled, how scenes were filmed, and the overall creative process. That unique blend of creative passion and analytical thinking from my finance background has helped me build a brand that’s both visually inspiring and strategically driven. Looking back, every step—from childhood interests to media experience to my education—played a part in shaping the career I have today as a content creator and interior stylist.
