Hi Sosa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started on Seventh Avenue is Saint Louis, MO, with very little but made a way out of what seemed to be no way!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all. I don’t think there is a such thing as “smooth road”. I think even if you’re “silver spoon” there’s still a rocky road sometimes. It may not be the same rocks in my road because we’re walking two different roads but my point is, this is life! I don’t think life is easy for anyone! Some struggles I faced along the way are growing up in the worst neighborhoods in the city. Trying not to become a product of my environment.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a youth counselor, fashion designer, model, actress, musician and content creator! I specialize in art and entertainment. I am known for my music. I am most proud of being able to counsel some of the youth in the city.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My oldest brother deserves a lot of credit for a lot that I do. Even though he was “big bro”, he played a father figure role as well. He taught me life long values in such a short time but they helped me become who I am today.
