Rising Stars: Meet Tara Jackson of Pittsburgh

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Jackson.

Hi Tara, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Tara J music and entertainment entrepreneur. I am from Garfield Neighborhood in Pittsburgh, PA. I started in the music business back in 2009 when I use to write, record and perform my own music. Years later as I continued performing on many stages like coast2coast, Kelly strayhorn for “Wanna be famous” showcase by music artist, producer and film director Nelse D, JoshFromYnc showcases, plus more!

After graduating college in 2017 I started my first business Called “HotxxMagazine”, which is a indie magazine to showcase many talents around the world. In 2019 I started my second business called “HotxxMagOnlineRadio”, which is an online radio station for indie artist to have a home to promote their music, Also know as the “Home Of The Underground”.

Currently I am working to build up my tv network called “Hot & Glow Network”. This network featured a series of reality shows with our hit show being “Hustle Hard To Get It”. Season 1 is out on our patron channel and some of season 2 with more episodes to come. I am currently working on 3 more reality shows such as; “Keeping Up With Tara J”, “Mob Up Ink”, Lit University, plus more! We have so much on the way. Last but not least I am working on my upcoming R&B Album called “Don’t Trip” coming 2026 which will available on all major music platforms!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing comes easy but I have always been focused and determined to make goals and meet them. I am currently working on getting more eyes on the work that I do. The work I put out isn’t just for one city or a certain group of people. It’s for everyone I make different things for everyone to enjoy.

I believe what sets me apart from others and what makes me different is that I stay determined no matter what. I see a lot of people get discouraged and want to give up but not me. The sky is the limit for me and even beyond that it will continue.
