Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I had a beautiful, safe, and well-balanced childhood. No major trauma as a child. (praise God)

However, during my late teenage years — I felt like I took hit after hit. My mom and stepfather divorced. Shortly after the divorce, My biological father unexpectedly passed away during my first year of college. It shook me to my core! A few years after his death, I was challenged in my faith when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I knew I couldn’t lose my mom!! I had already lost a father and a step-father!! So I activated my faith and had to believe God for my mom’s healing!! She has been cancer free for 4 years now!!!!!

Most, if not all, of my challenges in life have been spiritual. It’s by those challenges listed above that I’ve learned patience and diligence in prayer. I know that everything I go through build muscles to help carry someone else through at a later time.

So, that’s what fuels me. Knowing that my life, even the challenges, are equipping me to help others.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
By profession, I’m an Executive Assistant for the City of Atlanta supporting Chief-Level Executives. I’m the youngest EA in my department.

I believe I’m most known for my fashion sense and my faith! Those are the two areas that I receive the most engagement about on my social media accounts.

I’m most proud of my podcast because I remained authentic to myself. I believe mentors and role models are important, but I also believe we live in a culture where people mimic what they see rather than being authentically themselves. I knew the direction God showed me as it relates to my podcast and I remained true to that.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the culture of Atlanta. It embodies freedom and creativity. It has become another “Hollywood” as it relates to the amount of opportunities that’s are provided to those of all gifts & talents. What I love most is that Atlanta highlights Black Excellence. If you want to see minorities in positions of wealth by way of music, politics, government, arts, etc.— come to Atlanta. Home of the Black Millionaire.

I think we can all relate that the least favorite thing about our city is the traffic. It’s terrible! Lol
