Rising Stars: Meet Terez Peguero

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terez Peguero.

Terez Peguero

Hi Terez, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my branding Uncut Lamez in the summer of 2019. I realized I had a deep passion for producing art that would uplift my community of relatable and relevant topics surrounding worldly encounters every day. I have progressed to add poetry to my abstract/impressionism painting background. I have participated in different vendoring events, art shows, and poetry slams across Atlanta. My ongoing goal is to inspire my uniquely indifferent community of hippies and outcasts.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have obtained humility, responsibility, and vulnerability. Humility because in order for you to produce anything raw, you have to practice what you produce and preach. Responsibility because you have to remain consistent and persistent in your craft. Lastly, vulnerability because you have to be open and broad-minded to your approach to obtain your like-minded crowd.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an abstract/impressionism painter as well as a poet. I am known for my eccentric style and taste of colors, shapes, and coordination of storytelling. I am most proud of my originality, and what sets me apart from others is my acute thought process of how I complete my messages.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
My risk taking circles around, never allowing myself to limit my imagination. I endeavor to explore every element of my creativity.
