Today we’d like to introduce you to Traci Caswell
Hi Traci, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my career in HR but I grew up in an environment where we gave back to our community. In college, I volunteered on my own and with my sorority with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Trees Atlanta, and local shelters. I often helped community members experiencing homelessness and hunger. Many students- my classmates- relied on school housing and food through student programming to eat. Growing up, my family valued homeownership and having a place friends and family can visit or get back on their feet, so adding real estate to my services to educate and elevate others felt like a natural fit.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
After losing my older sister to cancer in 2019 and battling the effects of COVID in 2021, I began journaling. This eventually evolved into a published journal now available on Amazon titled “The Mogul Within: A 30-Day Mindfulness Devotional.”
I needed a way to get grounded and focused. It’s easy to get busy wearing all the hats as a mom ,wife to a husband in ministry , and designing a business balance I would enjoy with my family.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I empower families to achieve homeownership by providing resources, education, and support. I partner with cooperating agents and businesses to help make homeownership more accessible and sustainable, fostering stronger and more resilient communities. When you live, work, and learn alongside your community, you deepen relationships and build trust.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
A key strength of mine is creating safe spaces within my personal and work environments. This ability is definitely a gift from above and has allowed minds and hearts to open up enough to consider different perspectives and new ways to grow. I personally like to say, “Lead and Live a Life You Love.” 🤎
