Rising Stars: Meet Willie Freeman

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Willie Freeman.

Hi Willie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
One day, after watching “Daredevil” on Netflix, I told myself that I was going to work in the TV and Entertainment industry.

At the time, I was passionate about competitive video gaming, so it was a no-brainer to start there. My day-to-day was creating live streaming graphics and editing content videos for popular Twitch/Youtube Creators, to eventually getting my first political job working for Senator Warnock.

Now currently working in the commercial field and really learning more about this art, I’ve started my own production company recently know as Creative Goats and now as Red Garden Studios. I hope to produce and edit a few short/feature films full of creativity to get closer to my initial goal.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I can say that I enjoyed my journey, as it wasn’t too difficult for me.

I hustled late at night and lined myself up to make the key connections to help me get into the position today. I can’t take it for granted, as I’ve worked with amazing individuals who haven’t been discovered yet.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I recognize that editing is not just about piecing together shots but about crafting a narrative, shifting emotions, and engaging the audience. I’m not confined to a single genre or style.
