Story & Lesson Highlights with Christopher Noel of West-Midtown

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Christopher Noel. Check out our conversation below.

Christopher, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I’m definitely walking a path – but it’s not some neatly paved sidewalk. It’s more like a trail I’m carving as I go, brush in one hand, camera in the other. Some days it’s clear, other days I’m stepping through fog with nothing but instinct and vision guiding me. But I’m not lost.

Everything I create – whether it’s a portrait, a blog post, or a story – is another footprint forward. I’m not just wandering to wander. I’m exploring with purpose. Building something sacred. Leaving a trail behind for others to feel seen, heard, and inspired. This path I’m on? It’s mine – and I’m walking it like I was born for it.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey, I’m Chris – founder of 1154 Studios and the voice behind CachetChris.com. I’m a visual storyteller who helps established brands and businesses reintroduce themselves to the world with clarity, confidence, and creativity.

At 1154 Studios, I specialize in visual branding through photography, video, and content strategy. I don’t just create visuals – I help brands tell stories that feel honest, powerful, and rooted in who they really are. Whether it’s elevating a product line, capturing the essence of a founder, or rebranding a business that’s ready for its next chapter, I’m here to bring that vision to life.

I also run CachetChris.com – a platform where I share inspiring stories and wellness-centered content focused on the mind, body, and soul. It’s where I build community, highlight real voices, and explore deeper narratives beyond the surface.

If you’re a brand, creative, or business owner looking for a collaborative partner who sees the bigger picture, let’s connect. I’m building with intention – and I work best with those who are, too.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that’s served its purpose – and needs to be released – is the version that played small to keep the peace. The one that questioned their timing, their worth, or waited for permission to take up space. That part helped me survive, stay humble, and move quietly through rooms where I didn’t feel seen yet – but it can’t come with me where I’m going.

I’m stepping into a season where my voice, my vision, and my presence need to be loud, clear, and unapologetic. The world I’m building – through 1154 Studios, CachetChris, and the stories I’m telling – requires my full self. No dimming. No shrinking. Just truth, purpose, and fire.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yeah, I’ve had those moments – where I was ready to throw in the towel. Times when the momentum slowed, the silence felt loud, and I questioned if all the energy I was pouring into my work was even making a difference.

But every single time I got close to giving up, something – or someone – would show up. A friend or family member would tell me they referred someone to my business, completely unprompted. Or I’d stumble across an old vision board or journal entry and remember why I started in the first place.

The Divine always sends reminders – little nudges that say, “You’re still on the right path.” It’s like the universe refuses to let me quit on myself. And those moments are what keep me grounded, fueled, and moving forward.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would probably say that what really matters to me is meaning. I don’t do surface-level well. I care about creating work that feels honest, building spaces that feel safe, and having conversations that go beneath the noise. They know I value purpose over popularity, impact over applause.

They’d also say I care deeply about people – about their stories, their healing, their growth. Whether it’s through my camera, my writing, or just how I show up, I want people to feel seen. And above all, they’d probably tell you I’m grounded in something bigger than myself. Faith. Legacy. Intentionality. That’s what drives me.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
What I’d regret most is not fully stepping into the stories I’m meant to tell – the ones that scare me, challenge me, or push me beyond comfort. Not taking the risks to build 1154 Studios into something that truly reflects my vision, or holding back on sharing the truth behind CachetChris.

I’d regret not trusting myself enough to say yes to opportunities, collaborations, or moments that could change everything. More than anything, I’d regret not living with the courage to create my legacy on my own terms.
