Story & Lesson Highlights with Dreday 3.0 of Downtown

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Dreday 3.0. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Dreday, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me is nonstop motion and creativity. I usually start early, checking in with my team on current projects — from upcoming fashion events and artist rollouts to brand campaigns for BDM Entertainment. I spend my mornings reviewing designs, approving marketing materials, and coordinating with my staff to make sure every department is aligned.

By midday, I’m in meetings or on calls with designers, models, and sponsors — planning logistics, securing partnerships, and refining our next major show or release. The evenings are when I shift into the creative zone: reviewing music, visuals, and digital content, or connecting with my audience and community online.

Every day brings new challenges and opportunities, but that’s what I love about building Billion Dollar Minds — it’s about creating culture, empowering others, and constantly pushing forward.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is DeAndre Jenkins, professionally known as Dreday3.0 — I’m the founder and CEO of Billion Dollar Minds Entertainment, a fast-growing entertainment, fashion, and lifestyle company based in Atlanta. BDM was built to bridge luxury culture, music, and fashion — creating experiences that celebrate creativity, independence, and excellence.

Through our fashion division, BDM Wear, we design statement-making streetwear and luxury apparel that represents ambition and self-worth. Our modeling agency, BDM Modeling, provides opportunities for new talent to shine on major stages, including our signature events like the Harlem Nights Winter Fashion Gala and Miami Spring Fashion Week. On the music side, BDM continues to develop artists and showcase authentic voices that reflect today’s generation.

What makes my brand unique is that it’s more than a company — it’s a movement built on vision, culture, and empowerment. Every project we touch is about inspiring people to think bigger, believe in themselves, and move with purpose. Right now, I’m focused on expanding BDM globally, building stronger partnerships, and continuing to create platforms that merge entertainment, fashion, and community.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was already a boss in my spirit. I’ve always had a natural drive to lead, create, and bring people together around a vision. Even before I understood business or branding, I knew I wanted to build something that inspired others and left a lasting impact.

I grew up seeing the world through the lens of possibility — I never waited for permission to dream big. That mindset shaped who I am today. The titles and success came later, but the ambition, creativity, and leadership were always in me from the start. I was, and still am, someone who believes in creating your own lane instead of waiting for someone to make space for you.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self, “The world is yours — you’re the architect, so build it how you like.” Don’t wait for approval or the right moment. Everything you need is already inside you — the vision, the strength, and the creativity. Stay true to your purpose even when people don’t understand it yet. Every challenge you face is shaping the foundation for the empire you’re meant to build. Keep going, because your blueprint is divine and your timing is perfect.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies my industry tells itself is that things happen overnight. Success doesn’t come from luck — it comes from consistency, patience, and years of unseen work. A lot of people only see the highlight reel, not the grind behind it — the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, and the faith it takes to build something real.

In entertainment and fashion, people often chase trends instead of building legacy. But true impact takes time. It’s not about how fast you get there, it’s about how solid your foundation is once you arrive. That’s why I move with purpose, not pressure. I’d rather grow slow and strong than blow up fast and fade away.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had 10 years left, I’d stop wasting time on people who don’t have the drive to be better. Energy is everything, and I’ve learned that not everyone is meant to go where you’re headed. I’d focus my time and energy only on those who match my ambition, my purpose, and my hunger to grow.

Life’s too short to keep trying to wake up people who are comfortable sleeping on their potential. I’d rather pour into those who are ready to build, create, and elevate — people who understand that every second counts when you’re chasing legacy.
