Check Out KG Fletcher’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to KG Fletcher. She shares her story with us below:

KG Fletcher (Kelly) Romance Author/Audiobook Narrator/Professional Singer Trad & Indie published: 14 books (4 series, 3 stand-alones) New series (Faultless Love, The Bennetts of Langston Falls, Book One) released on November 11, 2022!

Dubbed “The Singing Author,” KG Fletcher lives in her very own frat house in Atlanta, GA with her husband Ladd and three sons.

As a singer/songwriter she became a recipient of the “Airplay International Award” for “Best New Artist” showcasing original songs at The Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN. She earned her BFA in theater at Valdosta State University and has traveled the world professionally as a singer/actress.

KG currently gets to play rock star as a backup singer in the National Tour, “Remember When Rock Was Young – the Elton John Tribute,” www.almosteltonjohn.com She is also a summer artist-in-residence at her alma mater (Valdosta State University) performing roles in musicals for the Peach State Summer Theatre program, her favorite roles to date being Donna in Mamma Mia!, and Marmee in Little Women the Musical. During lockdown and all through the pandemic, KG got creative using a bedroom closet and used her BFA to full advantage narrating and producing the first four books in her Reigning Hearts Series. (Now available on Audible.) She plans on narrating and producing ALL of her stories!

KG is a hopeless romantic. When she’s not on the road singing, she’s probably at home daydreaming about her swoony book boyfriends or arranging a yummy charcuterie board while sipping red wine and listening to Frank Sinatra.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road because of the learning curve. My advice – reach out to other authors in your genre. Ask questions. Be bold! Take classes. Learn your craft and the business side of things. There is always something to learn in this business. Most important, stay true to yourself. There’s no right or wrong way to tell a story. You have a uniqueness that is all yours and the world needs it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets me apart from others – I’m a love promoter. My books showcase chivalry, respect, swoony romance, safe sex, and a guaranteed happily ever after.  I am grateful for my following, for the incredible readers who want my stories and get excited when a new book comes out. It’s a privilege to be able to do what I get to do.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a book nerd with a vivid imagination. I loved singing and musical theater, so I was involved in chorus and the drama department. I went on to get a BFA in musical theater at Valdosta State University and I’m still traveling the world as a grown up, performing while crafting my next romance novel.
