Praised by the legendary, Madd Hatta aka Mista Madd of The Madd Hatta Morning Show, Nina has become a force to be reckoned with. One word to describe Nina Nicole – Unstoppable.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, I believe that no one’s dream is a smooth road and I didn’t expect it to be. I suffered through the regular challenges in life while being a musician, author, mom, wife and business owner. It’s a lot to juggle. I fight with myself to never become the normal face of female rap and it is taking me a lot longer to reach my peak than others because of that. I don’t fit the regular criteria of female rap but I vow to change the narrative.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a musician, author and business owner (Purple Dreams Boutique & Design Studio). I specialize in songwriting and design. In a nutshell, I am a creative. I love to create art in all aspects. I am known as The Punchline Queen. I love to paint pictures vividly with words. I love to play with the words and articulate in a manner that most have to think about a second time around. I love to make people think. I am most proud of both my book “Younicorn Memoirs” and my album “Younicorn,” which both dropped on the same day. I put a lot into both projects and allowed myself to be vulnerable and open up about all the trials and tribulations I faced on my journey to success. What sets me apart from others is my ability to adapt to any circumstance and my authenticity. I don’t sound like anyone, my creative ideas are one of a kind, and I move at the beat of my own drum. I pride myself in not being like others and not being stuck in any box, I want to be that millionaire with seven incomes and so far, I am only at three.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Happiness to me is PEACE. Being content with who you are and having peace within your life is everything to me.
