Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Aryee.
Hi Hannah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m a woman-owned design agency. I started right after high school, designing and creating for businesses and brands. What started out as a passion for art & design transformed into working with many businesses and brands while still allowing me to use my creative talents.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I did face many challenges along the way. The hardest challenge, which looking back, feels more like a blessing in disguise. Before I began working for myself, I had a full time. I had a 9-5 job, still doing what I love, graphic design. Before covid-19, I was on maternity leave with my 9-5 job and was preparing to go back when they laid me off. I was devastated, but thankfully I reminded myself I can do what I love and work for myself and not worry about being let go or being fired. So I decided to focus on my design agency, employee assistant designers, and hit the ground running!
